Tüy dökme kedilerin yenilenmesi olduğu için onlar için gerekli bir süreçtir. Fakat yukarıda bahsedilen kedilerin tüyleri olmaması ya da az olması nedeniyle tüy dökme sorunu yaşanmamaktadır.
Tüy dökmekte olan kediler için ise düzenli bakım gereklidir. Tüylerin
düzenli olarak taranması ve dökülmelerin tarama esnasında olması, ev içerisinde
farklı bölgelere dökülme olmasını engelleyeceği için daha sağlıklı olacaktır.
